If a video shows this metal, first identify the mod and installed file. The name alone does not tell you whether the same item exists in another project using the dimension’s name.

This guide answers the practical questions: what the material improves, whether it is better than Netherite, which smithing inputs are documented, and what happens to the equipment after death. Is Siftite better than Netherite?

The author describes Siftite as a Netherite upgrade, but “better” needs a specific comparison. Tools gain speed and durability; armor does not gain a higher base defense or toughness tier in the published description. 1. Confirm you are running Mielon’s mod in the intended profile. Another dimension mod may use different materials or no equivalent upgrade.
2. Identify the equipment you intend to upgrade with Siftite. Keep a spare or use a separate test world if the item is valuable.
3. Collect the named Siftite ingot and upgrade template. Do not substitute a similarly colored material or a different smithing template.
4. Open the Smithing Table and inspect the result preview with the three inputs present.
5. Read the resulting Siftite item name before taking it. If there is no result, record the inputs and file version before changing several things at once.

The Siftite equipment list includes a sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, spear and full armor set. That list establishes the equipment families described for Siftite; it does not prove that every historical mod file exposes identical recipes. Check the item names available in your own installation before planning a complete set.

It does not mean that every individual chest or slot has that probability. Nor does it guarantee a template after a particular number of visits. Avoid building a guaranteed route from a percentage whose full loot-table context has not been inspected. Record what structure you visited and which release generated the world if you investigate further.

What happens to Siftite armor after death?

The author describes a Mini Rift beside the player after respawning that returns lost Siftite equipment. If inventory space is unavailable, remaining eligible items orbit the player until there is room. This recovery behavior is part of the mod’s equipment description.

The Siftite recovery scope matters: ordinary food, building materials, other tools and unrelated inventory contents are not promised the same protection.
